My 14-year-old son is autistic, though high-functioning. I remember going through all the tests and learning like you're doing. It gets easier, if that's any consolation. I'm in the genetic camp, as you can clearly see signs of autism on my husband's side of the family. Feel free to email me with questions. Hang in there.
