... so he can remember which one I am?
I was trying to get started on the camisole in this McCall's 5651, but I'm so darn distracted by Paris and Nicky smiling up at me every three steps that I need a breather.
I mean, really. Who at McCall's fell in love with these girls' faces, and why am I being subjected to their glazed adoration? That has testosterone written all over it. oi.

It's one of the DYI patterns, and they are real women, who they hired to design these things. They have a website or blog. I felt precisely the same with the one I bought. The comments are just inane and the instructions aren't any better than any other set of instructions, just more annoying!
There are no words for how funny that bit of commentary is
Mr. Hunting Creek wants to know just what is so funny over here.
Perhaps having their name on their panties is a handy reminder on how to spell it?
Hee, hee, hee. Oh, so right. Ranks up there with that stupid beer commercial with the Russian, dim-witted "perfect girlfriend" which rankles my nerves. "He can dew wha ever he wans." Gag.
I'm laughing so hard...
You've got to be kidding. I had no idea those McCall DIY patterns were like that. How annoying and ridiculous!
OMGosh...I am ROFL !
What a way to start my day..thanks!
Pam~Off The Cuff~...laughing
Oh thank God I wasn't drinking coffee or I would have spewed it all over my monitor! All I could think of in the panties-monogram-men connection is the idea of some lothario handing out monogrammed panties to his various conquests so he can keep track of them. Kind of like the old Day of the Week panties.
As far as the girls looking up at me, that would really start to bother me after about a nanosecond. I haven't bought one of those patterns yet, and I may not after seeing the instructions.
Thanks for the morning laugh!
That is so very odd. Especially that they're speaking in unison. I'm glad I was forewarned about this.
OMG I know!! I said the same thing when I first bought this pattern, it's SO creepy... I recently pulled this pattern out since I'm doing some bra and panties very soon, but even if I cover up their gross faces, the instructions still aren't very good...
Laughing on your comment. Hilarious.
But that instruction sheet really seems annoying.
I'm bookmarking this post--whenever I feel sad, I'm going to read this. Hysterical!
Intials??
What good would THAT be?
Speaking as a man (because i am one, you see...), initials would mean one would have to remember what the damn things stood for.
Unless they were tossed in a pile with others, so that the owner could claim them from the others...
But still... intitals? WTF?
